At McAtee Studio, we believe exceptional homes begin with thoughtful design. Every space should feel timeless, purposeful, and deeply personal—a reflection of the people who live there while honoring the architecture that surrounds it.

Founded by Mike and Paula McAtee, the studio specializes in the architectural and interior design of luxury custom homes and large-scale renovations throughout Colorado and beyond. With more than two decades of experience, Mike and Paula bring a unique perspective shaped by their backgrounds in architecture, interior design, residential construction, and development. This comprehensive understanding allows McAtee Studio to bridge the gap between vision and execution, considering every detail from the earliest concepts through construction and final installation.

We believe a truly exceptional home begins with the floor plan. Thoughtful architecture establishes how a home flows, how spaces connect, and how moments unfold throughout. From initial concepts and floor plan development to construction documents and permitting, we approach the architecture and interiors as one cohesive vision—creating homes that are as considered in the way they live as they are in the way they look.

Our work is defined by clean lines, rich materials, natural textures, and an understated elegance that transcends trends. We believe true luxury is found in thoughtful proportions, exceptional craftsmanship, and homes that function as beautifully as they look.

Whether designing a mountain retreat, a modern family home, or a complete renovation, our goal remains the same: to create homes that feel effortless, refined, and uniquely yours.
